Young Guns 22 x Timothy Goodman

Collaborated with Timothy Goodman to translate the Young Guns 22 trophy he designed into a digital animated object perfect for the award ceremony celebrated at the Sony Hall in NYC.
Brief: Recreate the Young Guns 22 trophy in CG and develop a short animation that captures the playfulness of a Rubik’s Cube composed of six distinct typographic faces.

Challenge: Translating a highly tactile and playful object into motion ensuring each face remained legible while the object behaved in a dynamic and natural way.

Outcome: Creation of the CG model and animation, exploring rotation and timing to highlight the interplay between typography and form. The final piece emphasizes the cube’s modularity and movement, reiterating it as a toy, while creating a clear and engaging visual for the live event.
