Circle Brand Evolution

During my time at Brand New School,  I was part of the team that worked on evolving the brand language for Circle, contributing to a motion system designed to scale across major public placements from JFK Airport to Times Square. The work translates traditional financial concepts into minimal, adaptable visuals within a flexible, grid-based framework.

Brief: Translate Circle’s growth into a visual system that bridges traditional finance and digital trust. Building on an already existing motion and design system to be flexible and scalable on to large format screens from JFK to Times Square.

Challenge: Working within the boundaries of an established design system while pushing it to feel fresh and evolving. The intent became to bridge traditional finance and digital banking in a way that felt clear and engaging without becoming literal.

Outcome: Animations, motion tests, and styleframes as part of the design team, helping extend the system into a more flexible visual language. The work translates financial behaviors into simple, repeatable motion patterns, incorporating material inspiration from traditional finance while remaining scalable and adaptable.
